The "Bugman's" visit

Today we had an early "whole school"  Assembly. Our visitors were Caroline Wallace and Ruud Kleinpaste. They were with us because of the Treemendous Project we won last year.

Rudd talked to us about how vital insects are to the whole world. They are pollinators extraordinaire and we could not survive without them. He introduced us to spiders, sloths, butterflies and a whole range of creatures who rely on bugs. We heard that there are 1 million known insect species and up to 12 -30 million yet to be identified!

Here are a few snaps!
